Ted Taylor
Principal
Ted Taylor is a Quaker minister, clinical chaplain, bioethicist, and healthcare administrator. He has more than twenty-five years of service in pastoral care and clinical ministry. He is the founder of Princeton Pastoral Consulting, an affiliate of Clinical Pastoral Education International (CPEI).
Ted’s professional interests and areas of skill include:
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) supervision and formation
- End-of-life care and palliative care
- Bioethics in healthcare settings
- Spiritual care for individuals and communities navigating illness, grief, and transition
Ted is rooted in the Quaker tradition of presence, listening, and the inner light. He brings a contemplative and non-anxious presence to his clinical work. He also maintains this presence in supervisory relationships. His approach integrates theological reflection with evidence-based practice, supporting chaplains and care professionals in developing their own authentic ministry.
